There are 238 residential properties available combined in Madison and Carroll counties, my usual area of service. While I’m happy to help anyone in Washington and Newton counties, too, Madison and Carroll are my most frequently traveled.
I’ll break these down into availability in bedrooms, price, and acreage (condition of the home is something that really can only be assessed in person as photos are deceiving, so that is not one of the sorting criteria):

What Matters Most?
Sometimes when someone is looking for a home with acreage, the condition or size of the house doesn’t really matter.
What matters is the land. A house, no matter the condition, usually at least means there are utilities on site. This is not always the case, though, as some homes sold in our rural areas are offgrid and/or on rainwater or spring catchments.
Agent Available
If you need the house to be liveable and also want over 5 acres, I’m happy to do a preliminary look at the property for you and will make a video walk-through if we have a signed agency agreement. This won’t substitute your own eyes, but will at least weed through some obvious no-go’s if you’ll have to travel to come see them. If you’ll let me know what are your most important criteria (land features, home features) I can do some pre-weeding for you.
